The Prairie County Ambulance Service was established in 1977. Prairie County's service area covers approximately 1731, square miles and, the service responds to an average of 80-100 call per year. Prairie County is licensed by the State of Montana as a Basic Life Support Service with Advanced Life Support Endorsements.
